Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. Text block edges slightly foxed. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed. Intense wear to spine with surface of cloth partly worn away. Gilt titles largely illegible. Water stains to front and rear. Book has a moderate forward lean. Unclipped jacket in poor condition, in two pieces with large areas of loss, heavy tears, creases, stains and marks. Some water staining overall.
