About This Item

London, United Kingdom: Hodder and Stoughton, 1978. **** SIGNED AND DATED BY FRANCIS DURBRIDGE TO THE FFEP.....AND VERY SCARCE THUS **** A good copy with a slight spine lean. Page 37 is neatly detached but could easily be reattached as the break is clean and the page complete, please see photos. All other pages are holding though there is a degree of separation between some pages. Binding is bright, clean and well preserved. Bottom front corners have minor bumping. Previous owners name and date in pencil to front fixed endpaper remains discreet. Loosely laid in newspaper cutting of Francis Durbridge obituary. The dustwrapper has wear and some hairline tears to top and bottom of front panel, and a little more so to head of spine, with associated rubbing. Importantly there is no loss and no restoration. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Most copies were consigned to library copies so this copy is a rarity. A VERY HARD FRANCIS DURBRIDGE BOOK TO FIND.......... ESPECIALLY SO HAVING BEEN SIGNED BY AUTHOR.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Good/Good. FIRST IMPRESSION of FIRST EDIT.
