Black Cloth with Silver Lettering and Design to Spine and Front Cover; White Endpapers; Free-Front Endpaper and Fixed Front Endpaper each have blue marker areas where previous owner(s) have eradicated their names; rear fixed endpaper has previous owner's name at top edge and free rear endpaper has some arabic/hebrew-looking pen marks near bottom of page; book edges are relatively clean for its age; book interior is clean and tight and unmarked; 4to; 1299 pages; indexed; illustrated; dustjacket if book is clean and bright though white rear dustjacket panel has darkened with age; front panel of dustjacket had some very light rubbing and small chips at bottom edge and upper right and left corners are chipped; spine panel of dustjacket has light rubbing at top edge, a small chip at lower right spine fold, and a small stain at lower center spine; inside front flap of dustjacket is creased"
