London: printed by E. Tyler, and R. Holt, for John Leigh, and are to be sold at the Bell between Chancery-Lane and St. Dunstan's Church in Fleetstreet, 1672. Third Edition. Hardcover. Folio, [34], 756 pages; VG-; Bound in full brown leather; rebacked with earlier boards preserved. Shelf wear, rubbing, and chipping to boards. Lacking frontispiece; later engraved potrait of Seldon included with this volume but not bound in. Title page with an archival repair to an open tear that has resulted in limited loss of text. A complete modern reproduction of the title page is included with the volume, but not bound in. Small area of insect damage through p. 228 and small areas of discolorations scattered throughout. Archival repairs to final two leaves.
One bookplate affixed to front pastedown, and one to front free endpaper. Bookseller's ticket of Galloway and Porter in Cambridge, England, on front pastedown; front free endpaper also marked with embossed book stamp. Annotations in ink on final page.
