NP [C.A. Greene?], 1889. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 125, [3] pages. Early anti-tobacco study, outlining various ill effects from yellow moustache to cancer, by an influential graduate of the Berkshire Medical College and practitioner of 'omnipathy' (for which see advertisements on last 3 pages). Spine sunned; slight stains and rubbing to covers and corners; slight internal browning to edges and endpapers; else a very serviceable copy of a fairly rarely encountered item.
