Louis Seaman was an American military surgeon serving in Manchuria during the Russo-Japanese War who wrote of his experience in the book 'From Tokio through Manchuria with the Japanese.' Seaman included information on military medicine, hospital conditions, treatment of prisoners, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Naval Battles, Russian soldiers and submarine mines, China, Manchurian bandits, and much more!
This 1905 first edition includes the author's inscription along with 43 illustrations throughout with a decorative red cloth binding.
