Reviews
On Apr 3 2020, a reader said:
His enemies already had him marked for death even before he hit town, but Gregory Quist, railroad detective, was known for two things, maybe three--warm beer, cold blood, and a fast gun. Yes, he drank his beer warm, he killed in cold blood when the situation warranted with his fast gun. Mr. MacDonald's westerns are great tales of action, suspense, and mystery all rolled into one, and Gregory Quist is one of his finest characters. I recommend any of these books.
