This is the grunt's version of day-to-day living and dying in World War I, using vernacular photos and eyewitness writings. Condition of this book Minor staining to boards, lower fore corners rubbed. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text contains marks and notes scattered throughout, in ink. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
