Iwaya's Fairy Tales of Old Japan; Color Woodblock cover art and woodcuts in text; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 50 pages; 1903 Eigaku-Shimpo-Sha, Tokyo. Octavo format paperback in color woodblock illustrated covers and side stapled binding and in original glassine/onion skin dust jacket. Printed in two parts. Part I in English translated by M E Kirby paged 1-36 with several woodcuts in text. Part II in Japanese language unpaged [24] and with a separate title page printed on pink paper stock. Light shelf bump bottom front corner with page stock showing a light stress crease across the corner throughout. Contents and covers bright and clean; no marks. Onion skin dust jacket with expected light toning and superficial rubbing edges. Uncommon. VG thus .
