Readers Union Jonathan Cape, 1955. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. 1955. This Edition. 253 pages. Red patterned dust jacket over yellow cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild crinkling, light tanning, occasional foxing and thumb marking. Boards have mild edge wear with light rubbing and crushing. Some light marking and tanning. There is bumping to corners. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Tanning to spine and edges.
