Philadelphia: Carey, Lea & Blanchard, 1833. xvi, 499p. A fair to good copy, the spine and covers are soiled, the front endpaper is lacking, there is a stain in the upper inside corners of pp. 499-434 about the size of a silver dollar and which gets lighter as it goes back into the book, all text is readable, there is a two-inch tear in the outer joint of the front of the spine down from the top, and the front hinge is slightly weak. The text is clean.. First American Edition. Hardcover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

The store contains over 10,000 books in over 80 different subjects, and favors good used books and good literature (both hardcover and paperback) over popular books and bestsellers. Our Internet business began in 2001. Upon visiting the store, we can show and sell individual online titles upon request. Store hours are 10:00-5:30 (Tues.-Sat.) and 11:00-4:00 (Sun.). The business is run by Richard Chalfin.
