About This Item
Lovell, Coryell & Co. Publishers, NY, Oxford Edition, undated. circa 1880-1905 hc approx.. 5x7.5" high, 320 pps. Good antiquarian. One of Jules Verne’s classics, written in 1873, this volume appears be a low budget printing, hence the lack of intro, biography etc., and slightly rough cut, heavily browned, crisp pages. Dark blue cloth over board cover with imprinted gilt lettering and design on spine only. In both cases, some edge wear along base and minor scratches to the spine and front, and some discoloration to the base. Inside, covers are spit from end pgs., and several other spits exist periodically between pages along with the above mentioned browned pages, etc. However, the book is solid, unmarked and, with a little care is both very readable and a nice edition to one’s bookshelves: GOOD Antiquarian book.
