Minor foxing, staining and moderate tanning to pages; even heavier to maps, with some slight ripping visible (image unaffected. More prominent to text block edges, lighter to pastedowns and free endpapers. Binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

Small 8vo, cloth, gilt title on top cover, illustrated, 541 pp. Some binding wear, covers slightly wrapped, a few creased pages, paper label on rear pastedown,  normal aging and browning; otherwise very good. Considerable detail and several black and white maps, many folding.
