About This Item
London: Faber & Faber Limited, 1950. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First English edition of Bruno Zevi's (1918-2000) groundbreaking book. Although Zevi spends considerable time on the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, he expands the vision for organic architecture beyond Wright's work to the work of Alvar Aalto, Richard Neutra, and others that we don't usually associate with organic architecture. First Printing. Light wear and soiling to dust jacket, minor sunning to spine, small closed tear at midpoint on spine, now in mylar cover. Blue cloth boards with slight discoloration along spine, gold embossed titling to spine. Previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown, clean within.
