Short "Happy Birthday, 1994" inscription by mother on the front free end-paper; thus, a Very Good clean and otherwise unmarked book in a Very Good+ dust jacket with a tad of shelf rubbing. On the flap on the dust jacket is stated - "A Book-of-the-Month Club and History Book Club Selection".
