About This Item

(New York): Boy Scouts of America, 1928. First Edition. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Near Fine/Very Good+. Leonard Rossell. 8vo. Pp. 137, [1]. Illustrated with the author's line drawings and black and white photography. Index to illustrations of animal tracks. Bound in green half-cloth over green paper-covered boards printed with black lettering and a vignette of a moose on the front board. With the stamp of "Nadelbach's Official Boy and Girl Scout Distributors" on the front free endpaper. In the dust jacket, illustrated by Rossell, that shows just a touch of edge-wear. A charming book designed to teach young 'ens about the tracks of wild animals, not just game, and their habits, presented in story form. The charming dust jacket is notably well preserved, and is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
