Montreal, Canada: Railfare Enterprises Limited, 1977. Presumed First Edition, First printing. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. 96 pages. Illustrated endpaper. Name, date and number of previous owner on fep. Profusely illustrated in black and white. DJ is in a plastic sleeve taped over the boards. The author has had a long association with the University of Toronto. He was a founding member of the Ontario Electric Railway Historical Assocation and was an officer and member of the Upper Canada Railway Historical Society. He had a well earned reputation as "an es-Steamed" colleague due to his work on Canadian Steamships. This book, the third in a series, concentrates on the electric lines of the part of Sourthern Ontario adjacent to the Grand River. Naturally fertile and prosperous, this area attracted early settlement which coalesced around two points: the head of river navigation at Brantford, and the water-power sites at and north of Galt.
