Paxton, Ill: N. E. Stevens & Sons, PR., C. 1900. Staplebound wraps. Illustrated wraps. Fine. 20 pages. 9 X 16 cm. Invented by Edward Atkinson in the late 1800's, this slow cooking apparatus used a kerosene lamp as fuel. Atkinson felt the amount of coal and wood used as a power source was wasteful and spent an extraordinary amount of time researching a new way of cooking. Includes descriptions of different Aladdin Ovens, Aladdin Oven Equipment, and a descriptive price list. Rear cover features an illustrated advertisement for The Paxton Campers' Oven. Illustrations throughout. Pristine.
