"Traffics and Discoveries" by Rudyard Kipling. 1904 1st edition, 1st printing; Macmillan and Co.; London. There are 22 pages of publisher's advertisements at the back. The book is a collection of short stories - each story is preceded by a poem by Kipling.
Condition:
Clean covers; light, white-ish spots on the spine. The gilt lettering on the spine has partially faded. The top edge of the spine is worn down. Small cloth tears at the bottom edge of the spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the text pages are lightly age-toned and clean with only some light foxing on pages 189-192. The front pastedown has the year 1913 and 2 names written in pen. Light tanning to the last publisher's catalog page at the back. Overall the book is in Good+ condition.
