London: Edward Moxon, 1844. First edition half green calf with marbled boards. Four raised bands on spine with gilt flower decorations. Marbled endpapers and page edges. Prior owner's neat signature and 1844 on second free endpaper, otherwise unmarked, well cared for copy. Leather is moderately rubbed at corners. Binding is tight and sound, and pages are free of markings, creases, or foxing. Very nice copy. xii, 276pp, appendix. Preface by the author.. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. 12mo - over 6" - 8" Tall.
