About This Item
London, New York and Bombay: Longmans, Greem amd Cp., 1905. Book. Illus. by frontispiece of the author, one photo plate and some ta blesl. Good. Hardcover. 6th Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Original red cloth with a bright gilt title on the unfaded spine. Some edgewear, a short split to the hinge at the bottom corner, and a water stain at the outer bottom corner that has bled onto the edges of the first 5 pages. Inside clean and tight, with no foxing or browning. I doubt that the British could have done their Raj (rule) in India without this book. It is a classic on gear, training, food, shoeing, etc. .
