Contemporary hlaf black morocco. spine with 6 raised bands decorated with 8 gilt rulesr; gilt lettered. ¶ The rather rare Belgian pirate edition (contrefaçon), printed in smaller types and on two different kinds of paper. Garrison & Morton 1967 citing Waller: "A valuable work of reference, containing a large amount of information on the various articles or the materia medica, collected from the best authorities, interspersed with much original matter". --(From page 551 on some scattered foxing or light browning).
