Noel Taillepied was a 16th-century French author best-remembered for his book on supernatural and extraordinary phenomena. "Treatise on Ghosts" was published early in the 17th-century and proved to be one of the best works of its kind. In fact, it was so popular that was reprinted even into the 20th-century. While it is filled with ghost stories of all kinds, one of the best is a section on the Witch of Endor. Taillepied also describes angels, demons, and other biblical entities and characters, nightmares and incubus hauntings, and so much more!
