"The Traveller" and "The Deserted Village" each have an Illustrated Title Page and 1 other Engraved Plate. "The Hermit" has an Engraved Title Page (6 Illustrations in total). "Critical Observations" (23 Pages) precede the Poetry. Contemporary Black Full-Leather Binding with 4 Raised Bands to spine. Gilt Title in Red Ground in 2nd Compartment with Gilt Decoration filling the others. Blind-Tooled design to Leather (like a basket weave) on front and rear, with Gilt Linear Perimeter. Endpapers and All Page Edges Marbled. 154 Pages, 220g, 6 1/2" Tall. Some wear to Leather ( mainly around spine, see photos). Front free endpaper missing. Previous owner's name on blank preliminary page. Pages in very good, clean condition, only a very occasional small spot of foxing. Plateshave a little light foxing, mainly marginal. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall
