George N. Morang & Company Ltd., 1901. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1901. Limited Edition. 347 pages. No dust jacket. Limited edition out of 700 copies, however this copy is not numbered. New Edition edited by James Bain. Dark green cloth with title label on spine. Deckled and rough cut text block edges. Contains black and white photographic plates and fold-out maps. Pages are bright, although lightly tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front paste-down, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Slight tearing to half title page. Occasional grey thumb-marking present throughout. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Plates are lightly tanned and moderately foxed. Maps are lightly tanned, with light edge-wear and dog-eared corners. Boards are subtly bowed with mottled mould to rear board. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. moderate tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends.
