Newburyport: William Sawyer & Co, 1808. First American Edition. Full calf. Fair. 12mo. [1], x, pages 11-366 pages. Marbled calf. Brown calf binding with red leather title label on spine. Ex-library with old ink name of "Williamstown Library No 303 Price 137" written on the right front flyleaf. Faint number and removed label on the spine. Old label removed from inside the back cover. Text has occasional brown spots and toning throughout. Rear end sheets damp stained. Light edge wear to boards. First printed in London in a 3 volume set. This is the first American edition printed in 1808 Newburyport one volume.
