New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1859. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo. [vii], 426 p.p., [8]. Original blue pebbled cloth. Sunned at spine and edges. Gilt tooling and titling on spine. Blind tooled panels to boards. Wear to spine ends and corners. Small damp stain to head of front board. Engraved title page and frontis. Front hinge starting. Foxing throughout. Ink inscription to FFEP dated March 30th, 1860. Pencil markings to endpapers. Binder's sticker of George W. Alexander, New York to foot of rear pastedown.
