Edinburgh, 1812. Second Edition . Quarter Leather. Good/No Jacket. 4to. 491 pages, plus 16 plates of which eight are colored and one other is folding, plus four folding tables, plus two maps of which one is large fold. Later, though probably 19th century binding, with leather over spine and marbled paper over boards (the later perhaps original?). Small leather spine label, perhaps from original binding, with "acKinzie [and] Iceland." Cover are rubbed and show general light wear. Moisture stain along outside edge of last 20 leaves. Four inch closed tear in folding map from bound edge into border but not affecting any other part of image. Scattered, mostly light, foxing, though a little heavier on title page. Volume remains tight and complete, and contents have been collated.
