New-Haven: Timothy Dwight, 1821. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Volumes 1 and 4 only. Travels of Timothy Dwight IV, the eighth president of Yale College. Quarter leather binding with marbled paper cover. Gilt lettering on spine. Map of the southern part of New England laid in front of volume 1 (only map in these volumes). Each volume about 500 pp. Errata sheet in back of volume 4. Front cover of volume 1 is detached. Both volumes show some wear around edges and hinges, while a decent part of the spine of volume 4 is detached. Previous owners' names in label, pencil, and paint in front end-page. Also, some notes in front end-page of volume 1. No annotation in these copies, and there is some foxing throughout. Full refund if not satisfied.
