Full calf, spine designed and lettered in gilt. Outer hinges are cracked, some wear to spine extremities and tips, very good generally. Three leaves have some damage to the lower part (pages 277 / 283 / 293), two with very slight loss of text. With 9 (of 10) plates, lacking plate II, which is a folding map of Naples. Plate VIII (seashells) is present in two copies. Overall, an internally clean and decent copy of a scarce book..
