London: Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1956. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. 499pp. Blue cloth with gilt lettered spine. Gilt to the publisher's slug dulled, or blackened, with very light bumps to the spine ends. Unmarked througout and the binding tight and square. Dust jacket a little creased around the edges, else really sharp. With the original wraparound band, which is darkened around the spine. Nice copy.
