Kiehl, on the 7th day of May, 1871" and the imprint information, text lightly browned, else a good copy.
"Mrs. Kiehl died suddenly at her home in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. Neighbors suspected the husband, who seemed overly affectionate with a cousin. The post-mortem showed arsenic poisoning, but Kiehl was acquitted nevertheless." McDade, Annals of Murder, 554.
