DJ artwork by Elizabeth Harbour. ; 144 pages; Eighteen-year-old Kate Crimonesi saw the elf reflected in her bedroom window. She had seen it once before, ten years previously, in a photograph of Professor Bodkin, the writer. Then, it looked pretty. Now, Kate sees that it is old, haggard and malevolent.
