Cast includes Giuseppe Borgatti, Adele Borghi, Elvira Lorini, Ignazio Tabujo, Ruggero Galli, Federica Casali, and Adele Sporeni, under the direction of Edoardo Mascheroni.
With small handstamp of the Italian musicologist Alberto Cametti to foot of title.
With ticket stub for the 14th performance at the Comunale Teatro Argentina for the 1898-99 season laid in.
Wrappers slightly worn; small rectangular inventory label to upper inner corner of upper. Minor wear; uniform browning; manuscript note in ink regarding first performance to title; manuscript notes in pencil to verso of cast list regarding the revival in Rome at the Teatro Costanzi on 16 February 1902. First Edition.
Tartini or the Devil's Trill, in three acts to a libretto by Ugo Fleres, was first performed in Rome at the Comunale Teatro Argentina on 29 January 1899.
