About This Item
Magistrates and Town Council of Edinburgh, 1896. 1st. Half-Leather. Collectible; Very Good. The 1896 1st edition, complete in 2 volumes. Both volumes solid and VG- or better in their half-leather over gilt-decorated boards. Some chipping and wear along the spines --especially at the foot of Vol. II. Still though, firm and presentable and, internally, very clean, with only a bit of light foxing along the preliminaries. Thick quartos, over 800 pgs. all told. Top-edges gilt, deckled fore and bottom edges.
