MISSING large map at book's end. 8vo, 386,(6)pp. . Howes D-355. Text, frontis, other map (of Lake Ontario), other plates & in text illustrations all quite nice. ZERO aging, foxing, marginalia or any other stain. BUT TEXT BLOCK FORE EDGE foxed. Pastedowns aged a bit. Ontario map & 3 other plates bound slightly out of place. Both boards triple edge ruled in blind around floral design with gilt book title at center. Back board tile only blind stamped. Backstrip worn. 1" spine top chip. Spine ends worn down to text level. Tips with minor wear. Spine sunned so lettering & decoration only barely visible. Top edge gilt darkened to black. Rear inner hinge paper cracking. .
