About This Item

Osprey Publishing. As New in Fine dust jacket. 1987. Reprinted Edition. Hardcover. 0850457009 . This specific hardback book is in like new condition with a hard board cover that has sharp edges and corners and has a tight binding. The pages are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased. The dust jacket is in fine condition with little wear if any. We package all books in custom cardboard book boxes for shipment and ship daily with tracking numbers.; "This book really with the 1937 Edward Turner designs, so if you are the lucky owner of one of the very early Coventry or Val Page designs, this book is not what you need. But for the other 99 percent of Triumph restorers, it's a good choice. Many period photos from the 1950s through 1970s. The book was written in 1981, so memories were still fresh regarding then-recent Triumphs. The book has 12 chapters: Early twins, Start of the Line, Military, Postwar Pre-Unit, Grand Prix, Unit Construction, After Meriden, The Trident, The Scooter Twin, The OHC Twin, Competition, and Specials. The real value for many restorers will come in the seven (!) appendixes: Specifications, Colours, Engine/Frame Numbers, Model Recognition, Production Flow Chart, Carburettor Settings, and Prices. The Specifications appendix includes roughly 75 specs per model for the 1960s-1970s twins. Colours cover all twins/triples from 1937 as far as I can see. If you like Triumphs, this is a good book; only a shop manual gives more information IMHO."; 8.90 X 5.90 X 0.60 inches; 192 pages .

About Dr. Bookman - All Books Tightly Packaged in Cardboard

We have an eclectic array of used and out of print books for you in our inventory. Service is key to our relationship with you. You get \"Old School\" service with Dr. Bookman. We can\'t look at each other in the eye, shake each others hand, or walk into the shop the next day if we\'re disatisfied. I understand that vulnerability. You are purchasing a product sight unseen. That means I must be honest with you about exactly what you are buying. You might find my descriptions more detailed than most others, but when purchasing online, I want you to know exactly what you\'re buying. I don\'t want you to feel surprised when you open the box. And by the way, almost all of our books are shipped in cardboard packaging designed just for books. That means you get it the way it left here.
