Racine, Wisconsin: Whitman/Western Publishing Company, Inc., 1965. Hardcover. Good. Frame, Paul; Petie, Haris. Book #9 in the popular girl's series in the "Deluxe Editions" from the mid-1960s, which were slightly larger, with cameo endpapers & brightly decorated matte paper-covered boards. Cover art by Paul Frame, internal drawings by Haris Petie, in 254 pages. Orig. published in this new format in 1965, listing to Book #15 in front matter indicates that this is a later printing. With decorative matte paper-covered boards, this hardcover book is in just Good condition: downgraded due to 1) moderate-heavy rubbing to extremities, 2) cracked front hinge, 3) scrape/paper loss to front cover through the "e" in "Trixie," 4) old pretend library pocket by former owner pasted inside back cover, 5) former owner's name in pen on ffep.
