Traicho Kostov, former President of the Council of Ministers and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party, and 10 other prominent Communists were sentenced to death by the Bulgarian Supreme Court (and later executed) for belonging to the "left-sectarian" faction of the Bulgarian Communist Party in the 1930's. "Left-sectarianism" was known as the Bulgarian version of Trotskyism. He was accused of spreading anti-Soviet sentiment in the Party and more importantly - of attempting to cause mistrust in the Party leader, Georgi Dimitrov. The current book contains all the materials from the process and sentencing. A scarce first Bulgarian edition, much more uncommon than the English translation of the same year, with OCLC listing 3 copies in US institutions.
