About This Item
From page v.: "Daniel has been one of the most misunderstood Great Men of all great men!"
"People know that he played a part in the advancement of civilization during the early pioneer days, but, in reality, they know little of the type of man he really was or the great part he played in the Western expansion..."
"Daniel Boone was a man of culture: intelligent, fearless, kind, pleasant, dedicated to almost any task that came before him....He believed in ecological conservation and preserving animal life."
This book has lots of information, plus some black and white photos. There is the name Thelma L. Morgan in the same ink as 8/2000.
Very Good- condition. Very minimal wear. The text is clean up until page 46 - then there is yellow highlighting and pencil underlining through the end of the book. The "Daniel Boone Linage" fold-out at the back is intact.
