About This Item
London, Fourth Estate, 2001. First edition, first impression. Book tight, pages yellowing somewhat. Dustwrapper fine, only slight shelfwear. There's an intriguing and rather sweet inscription opposite the title page which reads "12/12/01 Dear Chris, well it's not quite your book, but it's another perspective and I thought it quite apt, with you travelling up to London and all...so carpe diem and en me fin git mon commencement, all the best, yours sincerely, Jockey" (possibly). Who knows, Chris, or even Jockey, might now be very famous, as opposed to Christopher Ross, who might still be working on Platform 6 of Oxford Circus for all I know.

About Arrygarrybooks
Once an avid book collector, mainly of modern first editions, now retired and looking to simplify my collection. (We need more space for my wife's cookery books.)
