A new copy in mint condition and original publisher's wrapping as received directly from The Folio Society. First edition thus, first impression. This edition is newly introduced by novelist and essayist Colm Tóibín, and beautifully illustrated by Audrey Benjaminsen. Blocked in gilt, copper and silver with a design by the artist to both boards and spine. Set in Columbus. Printed on Abbey Pure Rough paper. xiv, 153 pp. Frontispiece and 5 other full-colour illustrations. Integrated black & white decorations, chapter headings and tailpieces. Decorative green and gold endpapers which match the slipcase. 8¾'' x 5½''. Printed and bound by Gomer Press in Wales.
