Houghton Mifflin Company, 1946-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good-. Signed. First printing with date on title page. Laid in is a typed excerpt from chapter six, SIGNED by Anya Seton. The volume is lightly bumped on the corners and spine, and the binding is a tad loose. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a Brodart sleeve, is chipped on the edges to include joints and folds (to a maximun depth of 1/4" on the spine crown and top of the rear panel), has some closed tears and creases, and the spine is gently toned.
