The dust jacket is crisp and clean with the exception of several medium sized semi-closed edge tears and a couple of small nicks. "At seven o'clock on a morning in late September 1876 the Milton Wright family of 7 Hawthorn Street, Dayton, Ohio, gathered in their dining room. Milton, forty-eight yhears old, a short, stout, bearded man wearing a clerical collar, stood at the head of the table and said, Our son Orville for the past three weeks has strayed from the way he is expected to go." .
