Clamshell case holding 1 volume and 1 portfolio with 18 examples of Bird & Bull printing ephemera. 108, [2] p.: illustrations; 33 cm. Original yellow morocco spine with light grey paper over boards printed in a pattern of birds and bulls. Gilt-tooled spine title. Light grey endpapers. Fore-edges and lower edges untrimmed. Title page printed in blue, brown, and black. Contents: Books printed by and for the Bird & Bull Press; Books printed by the Bird & Bull Press for others; Selected ephemera; Articles by or about Morris. This is #150 of a limited edition of 350 copes printed on handmade Roma V.E. paper at the Bird & Bull Press; bound by E.G. Parrot. The index "was compiled by that sterling bookman, raconteur and man about town, Howell J. Heaney" (from the colophon). clamshell case and portfolio are covered in grey linen, with an orange morocco spine label bearing a gilt-tooled title. Morocco spine very slightly darkened, as usual, else Fine. A clean, bright, and crisp copy.
