Nicholson Embossed decoration to front and back and spine in black with gilt titles on blue cloth boards which have very minor marks to front and just a touch of wear to spine head and tail and corner tips. Internally endpapers are age darkened as are the page edges, and a few previously unopened pages have been roughly opened else very clean with no marks. Not dated but probably 1890's. The sequel to 'The Three Musketeers'. **** A SCARCE EDITION **** B2C. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
Synopsis
Twenty Years After is a novel by Alexandre Dumas, père. This sequel to The Three Musketeers and a book of the so-called D'Artagnan Romances (the third and last book being The Vicomte de Bragelonne, including the famous volume, The Man in the Iron Mask) was serialized from January to August, 1845.
