Boston: Tappan and Dennet, 1844. First edition. . Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket. Original cloth binding nearly loose. textblock loose, with amateur sewing repairs through the original cloth spine holding it together. For all faults, quite scarce. Preface says these stories were found in the papers of the late Mrs. Gould, though author name not given on the title page.
