London: Rupert Hart-Davis, 1949. First edition of this memoir by the famed economist. Octavo, original cloth, frontispiece photograph of Keynes, Bertrand Russell and Lytton Strachey at Garsington. Introduction by David Garnett. Near fine in a very good dust jacket with a few small chips and wear. Uncommon in the original dust jacket. This posthumous publication contains two autobiographical fragments, the first Dr. Melchior: A Defeated Enemy dates from Keynes war service and the second My Early Beliefs reflects upon Keynes' early intellectual interests, including the philosopher G.E. Moore.
