First Edition. 12mo (15cm.); publisher's green decorative cloth stamped in black, gilt-lettered spine, all edge stained red, greenish-black glazed endpapers; 151pp. Boards and textblock somewhat soiled throughout, shelf wear with corners bumped, slight lean to spine, else About Very Good. BAL 7286: "Essentially a dramatization of 'Mr. Thompson's Prodigal'." Contemporary owner's pencil note on the last page adds: "This drama is a re-hashing of several of the author's previously written stories...& not at all an improvement, I think, in the manner of telling.
