Pages = Very Good: Previous owner's name both written and stamped on fep's and reverse covers, no marks on any text, tight, slightly tanned, mystery signature on title page (neither the author, nor either subject), Photogravure of SG Howe together with typed signature opposite title page. Cover (blue navy cloth boards with gold gilt particulars on front together with photogravures of the 2 subjects, no particulars on spine or back, tight, clear. Samuel Gridley Howe was the founder in 1829 of the Perkins School for the Blind. NOTED APPRAISER JAMES BEATTIE has ascribed a value to this copy of $75.00
